Spirit Blokovski. Built his views and identity in the matrix of New Belgrade's concrete jungle. The "blocks," as they are affectionately called by Belgrade's residents, served as inspiration for Blokovski's name, and were his stomping grounds during the furious stages of his growth, formation and teenage mayhem. He laid down his first audio recordings in 1996, however these were mere flirtations before his life led him in various new directions. In 2001 he returned to his roots. Understanding that writing lyrics was necessary for his survival, he turned a more serious glare towards the art form in 2003 and, soon after, made it public that he was officially dating hiphop ... shortly thereafter taking their relationship together into the filthiest of stages. He has two demo albums under his belt, "Čekanje Je Mučno" (Waiting Is Painful) and "Oproštaj Od Lošeg Snimka" (A Farewell To Low-Quality Recordings), as well as a rotting pile of performances, collaborations, unreleased tracks, a phobia of umbrellas and a rapidly decaying memory. Today he lives in a porno-house in the Banovo Brdo suburb of Belgrade from whence he travels the earth the only way he's allowed - via your speakers; Blokovski firmly states that he has never been a rapper - and he has no ambition of ever becoming one.
