Ar-chi-tex. A rap cult composed of two MCs and a producer - Spirit Blokovski and Mauzer wielding the mics and pens, with Kuer manning the keys and sloshing around in Acid. The trio decided to unite as the Architex in the fall of 2005 after spending a solid length of time as friends, solo artists swimming alone in the rough seas of the world of demo hip hop, and as avid drinkers of beer from plastic bottles. In their first month together, their trial by fire came in the form of a show at a local club - the appropriately named Catastrophe - and was followed by more performances, each one bigger and more daring in scope. The Architex exclaim that they may be the only hip hop group which needs more than a year to finish eleven songs and a cover for their planned, self-titled debut. The Architex are notorious for their violent love of beer, good music, pigeon watching, making fools of themselves in the claustrophobic confines of radio booths and in public places at ungodly early morning hours. With their poetic, and sometimes brash style, the group digs into a variety of themes dealing with society and the world in which we all live, implanting their ideas into listeners' minds in the form of music.
